BELIEFS
Nine Articles
1. We believe there is only one true and living God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the Word of God, and the only rule of faith and practice.
3. We believe that all men are, from birth, dead in sin and are thus unable to save themselves by anything within themselves, whether works, or effort, or merit.
4. We believe salvation is entirely a work of God’s grace alone, that justification comes by the imputed righteousness of Christ alone, and that this free gift of salvation is received by faith alone.
5. We believe all true believers will persevere in grace
and never finally fall away.
6. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, and that the joys of the righteous shall be eternal, the punishment of the wicked everlasting.
7. We believe that the ordinance of baptism is for
believers by immersion.
8. We believe that all baptized believers are welcomed
to the Lord’s table.
9. We believe the local church is Christ-ruled, elder-led, deacon-served, and congregationally-governed.
